Enjoyed a breakthrough season as a senior, leading Baylor in batting average (.362), slugging percentage (.661) and on base percentage (.432) and tied for the team lead in home runs (9) ... Did most of damage in second-half of season, appearing in 44 games with 39 starts ... Named honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference by the league’s coaches and second-team all-conference by The Dallas Morning News and the Waco Tribune-Herald ... Led Big 12 with a .386 batting average in league play, the second consecutive season in which a Baylor catcher won the Big 12 batting title ... Played 21 games in conference action with 20 starts ... Conference slugging percentage (.729) led team and ranked second in the league ... •Saw limited action after off-season elbow surgery
•Appeared in 24 games, including eight in Big 12 play
