2025 Outdoor: Earned second-team All-America honors with a 12th-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 20-3 1/2. . . . All-Big 12 with a pair of podium finishes at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, placing eighth in the 100 meters with PR of 11.43 and runner-up to teammate Alexis Brown in the long jump (21-3 1;2). . . . Became the second female athlete in program history to go over 22 feet, joining Brown, with a mark of 22-0 3/4 in finishing second at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster. . . . Had back-to-back first-place finishes at the Clyde Hart Classic and LSU Battle on the Bayou and third at the Florida Relays.
2025 Indoor: Capped off freshman indoor season with a third-place finish at the Big 12 Indoor Championships and a mark of 2008 1/2. . . . Runner-up at the Jarvis Scott Invite, behind Brown, with a mark of 20-10 1/2. . . . Had indoor season PR of 21-1 1/4, finishing third at the Corky Classic. . . . In collegiate debut, finished second at the McFerrin 12-Degree Invite with a mark of 20-9 3/4. . . . Recorded a pair of top-10 long jumps and ranks as the No. 2 performer all-time, behind Brown.
BEFORE BAYLOR: Two-time NACAC U18 Champion and two-time National Champion in the long jump and 4x100 meters relay ... Competed at the 2024 CARIFTA Games at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in St. George's, Grenada, where she set a new CARIFTA Games record with a leap of 21-4 (6.5m) in the girls long jump under 20 category and took home the gold medal ... Came also as a new personal record for Gannes as she improved her previous best of 20-0 ½ (6.11m) ... At the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games at Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port-of-Spain, Gannes earned silver honors in the women's long jump with a mark of 19-11 (6.07).
