Sadie Edwards was an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator for Baylor women's basketball from July 2023 to December 2024.
Edwards brought a multitude of collegiate and professional women’s basketball experience to the Bears, most recently serving as an assistant coach with the Oregon Ducks for the 2022-23 season. Prior to arriving in Eugene, Edwards spent the 2022 WNBA season as basketball operations manager for the New York Liberty.
A 2018 graduate of USC, Edwards was a standout guard from 2015-18 starting 72 of 82 games while averaging 11.1 points on 42.5 percent shooting. As a senior, she started all 30 games for the Trojans and averaged 12.9 points per contest.
Edwards, a native of Blairstown Township, N.J., received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from USC. She joined the Indiana coaching staff as a graduate assistant for two seasons following graduation at USC, helping the Hoosiers go a combined 46-12 with an appearance in the 2021 NCAA Elite Eight. She then spent time as an assistant coach at Lamar before joining the Liberty.
