LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Sheila Lambert scored 22 points as No. 24 Baylor beat Nebraska 77-57 on Saturday night.
Danielle Crockrum scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half, and Brooke McCormack added 12 points for the Lady Bears (19-7, 8-7 Big 12), who have won four of five.
Baylor shot 52 percent in the second half and outrebounded Nebraska 53-34.
Nebraska (12-16, 4-11) trailed by just four points at halftime, but never recovered from a 10-0 Baylor second-half run. The Cornhuskers were trying to win their third straight for just the second time this season.
Shannon Howell led Nebraska with 11 points, and Greichaly Cepero and Stephanie Jones each scored 10.
The Bears took advantage of six Nebraska turnovers in the first five minutes of the second half and went on an 11-3 run that gave them a 46-34 lead. The Bears pulled ahead by as much as 15 before Nebraska started a brief comeback.
Nebraska got within single digits when Cepero banked in a shot to cut it to 54-45. But Crockrum hit a pair of short jumpers and Lambert made a steal and took it in for a layup and the Bears were up by 15 again. Nebraska called a time out, but the Bears went on to score the next four points to complete the 10-0 run.
Nebraska never got closer than 13 again.
The Bears led 35-31 at halftime after a late 9-2 run. Nebraska had led the whole way until Lambert's short jumper put the Bears up 28-27 with 1:35 left in the half. Lambert added a 3-pointer and a pair of free throws in the final minute and had 11 points at halftime.
The Huskers led 24-16 on a layup by Jones with 9:32 left, but missed eight of their last nine shots in the half.
