Crockrom Named to Third All-America List

Baylor's Danielle Crockrom was named honorable mention All-America by WomenCollegeHoops.com. She was previously honored as their National Star of the Week on Dec. 18.
Crockrom, a 6-2 forward from Houston, Texas, maintains averages of 21.3 points and 11.6 rebounds a game. She leads the Big 12 in rebounding and is third in scoring and ranks fourth in rebounding and 10th in scoring nationally.
Crockrom has previously been honored by Women's Basketball News Service and Women's Basketball Journal, earning fourth-team All-American honors from each. In addition, she was named first-team All-Big 12 and Big 12 Player of the Week three times.
She recently broke the Big 12 single season rebounding record previously held by Texas Tech's Keitha Dickerson (320 boards). Crockrom now has 336 on the season. Earlier this season Crockrom broke Baylor's 20-year old rebounding record when she hauled down 23 boards against the University of Southern California. Her finest outing of the season was a 41 point-22 rebound performance against Texas Tech.
