WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's golf team is currently ranked 24th in the nation by Golfstat (www.golfstat.com). In addition, MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings named three Baylor golfers in the top 100.

The Bears are currently fourth in the Big 12 and sophomore Melanie Hagewood is ranked 13th in the Big 12 with a 76.30 stroke average after 18 rounds.

Junior Tara Bateman is currently ranked 52nd in the nation, followed by sophomore Melanie Hagewood ranked 63rd, and freshman Michaelyn Morgan is ranked 97th according to MasterCard.

The Bears are coming off a fifth place finish at the Baylor-Iowa San Antonio Shootout and next up for the Bears is the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic hosted by Oklahoma April 9-10, followed by the Big 12 Tournament April 23-25 hosted by Iowa State.
