WACO, Texas (AP) - Sheila Lambert prefers an assist to a shot.
But the senior guard found plenty of open looks Saturday, scoring 24 points and handing out 10 assists to lead No. 10 Baylor to an 80-62 win over Oklahoma State.
The victory ran the Lady Bears' conference winning streak to five, the longest in their history.
"I don't plan to score when I come down the court," Lambert said. "But tonight they anticipated I would drive, and I was able to pull up and make some jump shots."
"We don't really have anyone who can control Lambert," Oklahoma State's Dick Halterman added. "With Crockrom (Danielle), they have as good a 1-2 punch as anyone we face."
Crockrom scored 13 points, and Jessika Stratton and Steffanie Blackmon had 12 each for Baylor (18-3, 6-3 Big 12).
Tari Cummings led Oklahoma State (11-11, 3-6) with 14 points.
Leading 25-24 with eight minutes left in the first half, Baylor went on a 10-1 surge over three minutes. Lambert keyed the run with six points.
Stratton hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining, giving the Lady Bears a 43-29 halftime lead.
"Our bench was invaluable tonight," Baylor coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson said. "We had some starters in foul trouble, but Jessika, Steffanie, and Kelly (Sords) came in with some big shots and quality minutes."
Foul trouble plagued Baylor early with Brooke McCormack picking her second with just under 17 minutes remaining in the first half. Blackmon got tagged with her second followed by a technical three minutes later.
With McCormack and Blackmon on the bench, Sords filled in at the post, logging 18 minutes.
Trisha Skibbe added 11 points and Chantoya Hawkins 10 for Oklahoma State.
