WACO, Texas - Baylor women's golf moved into first place at Notre Dame's adidas Fall Invitational after completing the second round Monday in Palm Harbor, Fla. The Bears shot a 298 in the first round, and a 292 today, for a total of 590. Yesterday's leader, Missouri, has slipped into third place (597) and Kansas State is in second with a total of 596.

Sophomore Josefin Svenningsson scored a 71 in the second round and remains in first place at the 72-par, 5,844-yard Lansbrook Golf Course. Svenningsson's two-round total of 140 is the lowest she's carded in her Baylor career. Senior Michaelyn Morgan is tied for third place with a total of 145. Freshman Anna Rehnholm and sophomore Erin Bradford are tied for 24th with totals of 153. Kelli McKandless shot a 77 today to advance 13 spots into a tie for 38th. Meredith Jones is in a seven-way tie for 59th (163).

The 47th ranked Bears will play the final round Tuesday morning at 6:30 a.m. (CST).
