The Baylor women's golf team heads to California to compete in the Aztec Fall Invitational hosted by San Diego State University, Oct. 18-19 at The Auld Course in Chula Vista, Calif.
The 15-team field includes host SDSU, Alabama-Birmingham, Baylor, Boise State, Brigham Young, Cal State Northridge, Fresno State, Idaho, Illinois, Long Beach State, Nevada, Northern Arizona, Portland State, Univ. of San Francisco and Wyoming.
The format of the tournament consists of 54 holes beginning with 36 holes Monday and the final 18-hole round Tuesday. Play will begin both days at 8 a.m. (PDT) with a shotgun start.
The Auld Course is a 6,292-yard, par-72 course in Chula Vista, Calif.
The Bears are coming off a third place finish at Price's "Give `Em Five" Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State at their University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M.
Junior Josefin Svenningsson tied for fourth and was among three Bears in the Top-10 at the "Give `Em Five" Intercollegiate. Sophomore Anna Rehnholm tied for eighth. Freshman Sian Reddick tied for tenth with her highest career finish, and carded a career low 72 in the second round of Price's.
