The Baylor women's golf team heads to Austin in search of its first-ever Big 12 Conference title at the league championship tournament Friday through Sunday at the 6,323-yard, par-72 University of Texas Golf Club. The Bears will tee off, paired with Kansas and Texas A&M, at 8:50 a.m. from No. 1.

Baylor is led by freshman Sian Reddick's 76.29 stroke average, but have 2004 All-Big 12 honoree junior Josefin Svenningsson and All-Big 12 Tournament Team performer junior Meredith Jones in the lineup.

The Bears finished fifth at least year's tournament and have finished as high as third back in 2001.

The 2005 Big 12 All-Conference teams and awards will be announced Thursday at the pre-tournament banquet.
