ENMORE, Somerset, England - Baylor Lady Bears senior golfer Hannah Burke shot a 2-under 70 Wednesday to take the halfway lead at the 2009 English Women's Open Amateur Championship at Enmore Park Golf Club. Burke leads by one stroke through two rounds.

Burke is at even-par 144 after carding a 2-under 70 during Wednesday's second round. Burke tallied five birdies during the day and was 3-under on the outward nine holes. Her second-round 70 was the lowest round of the tournament.

Burke finished Wednesday's round with two birdies over the last three holes.

The 2009 English Women's Open Amateur Championship concludes Thursday.
