WACO, Texas (AP) - Khadijiah Cave was 9 of 10 from the field with 20 points and 11 rebounds on Sunday, and No. 13 Baylor cruised to a 90-60 victory over Marist.
Nina Davis had 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, Ieshia Small had 10 points and 10 assists, and Dekeiya Cohen had 18 points and nine rebounds. Cohen was 7 of 10 from the field and Imani Wright was 2 of 3 from 3-point range with 11 points.
Baylor (4-1) never trailed and built their lead consistently. The Bears had a 46-26 lead at halftime and led by at least 20 throughout the second. They shot 40 of 74 from the field, assisted on 26 of their made baskets and outrebounded Marist (1-5) 49-29.
Sydney Coffey and Katharine Fogarty led the Red Foxes with 13 points apiece. But Marist was unable to overcome 4-of-30 shooting from 3-point range.
