Baylor coach Kim Mulkey took all five players, including Davis, out of the game with 14:15 left in the first half, and Davis didn't come back for six minutes. Baylor rallied without her and trimmed its deficit to 16-15 before Oklahoma answered.

Oklahoma rallied and pushed its lead back up to 35-27 by halftime. Baylor trailed at the break for just the fourth time all season. The Sooners held Davis to six points on 2-for-6 shooting in the first half.
