
Men’s Tennis Stays Perfect in Main Draw Action

Bears beat three ranked opponents Friday in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. – Baylor men's tennis became a perfect 6-0 in main draw play on day six of the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championship Friday at the Case Tennis Center.
In singles action, 85th-ranked Sven Lah secured his highest ranked win of his career with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory against 16th-ranked Aleksandre Bakshi of Oklahoma in the round of 32.
No. 115 Will Little scored his second ranked win of the fall season with a 4-6, 6-1, 7-6(3) triumph over No. 105 Ricky Hernandez-Tong of New Mexico.
In doubles, Lah and senior Jimmy Bendeck earned their fifth consecutive match with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over No. 29 Martin Joyce and Hunter Tubert of Ohio State for a spot in Saturday's quarterfinals.
All three entries will have a chance to clinch an automatic bid to the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place November 7-11, in Surprise, Ariz.
