SURPRISE, Ariz. – Baylor men's tennis seniors Johannes Schretter and Will Little advanced to the singles round of 16 on day two of the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Thursday at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
33rd-ranked Schretter earned a 6-4, 6-1 win over No. 81 Laurens Verboven of USC for his second win at the event. Then, No. 85 Little downed Kiranpal Pannu of Columbia State, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the round of 16.
In the consolation singles draw, Sven Lah withdrew from his match against North Carolina's Josh Peck.
In consolation doubles action, fifth-ranked Schretter and Little took a 6-4, 6-4 victory over North Carolina's Josh Peck and Mac Kiger.
