- Baylor fell to 10-5 all-time in NIT play, including a 5-1 mark in Waco and 10-2 record in the Scott Drew era.
- Baylor dropped to 1-3 in the all-time series with Mississippi State, including an 0-1 mark in Waco and 1-2 in neutral site games.
- Baylor is 32-18 in postseason tournaments (conference, national) over the last 10 seasons.
- Drew is in his 15th season at BU and is Baylor's all-time wins leader (296) - he is 296-195 at BU and 316-206 overall in 16 seasons as a head coach.

TEAM NOTES
- After trailing by as many as 20 with 4:22 left in the second quarter, Baylor would outscore the Bulldogs 25-10 in the third quarter to take its first lead of the game with 0:01 left in the third quarter at 58-57.
- The Bulldogs would hit a last-second three to steal away a victory, closing the fourth quarter hitting their last six-straight field goals to outscore BU 21-19 in the fourth quarter.
- Baylor has the Big 12's second-longest active streak and the 11th longest nationally with at least one three-point field goal made in 870 consecutive games.
- Baylor had a 49-game home winning streak against non-conference, unranked opponents at home that was snapped with Sunday's loss.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Manu Lecomte (15 points) scored in double-figures for the 27th time this season and 73rd time in his DI career.
- Lecomte (.890 season FT%, 121-for-136 FT) finishes the 2017-18 season as the new program record holder in single-season free throw percentage, passing Pat Nunley (.887, 1979-80), going 7-for-7 at the charity stripe in Sunday's game.
- Lecomte (.866 career FT%, 194-for-224 FT) closes his career as the program's record holder in career free throw percentage.
- Terry Maston (26 points) scored in double-figures for the 15th time this season and 33rd time in his career.
- Maston exceeded 20 points for the sixth time this season and the seventh time in his career, spearheading the third quarter comeback.
- Maston tied the Baylor NIT scoring record, matching the previous scoring marks by Brady Heslip (vs. Long Beach State, 2013), Pierre Jackson (vs. Arizona State, 2013), and Cory Jefferson (vs. Providence, 2013).
- Maston (13-for-19 FG) set a new Baylor postseason record for field goals made, surpassing the previous records of 12 (Taurean Prince vs. Yale in 2015 NCAA) and 10 (Kevin Rogers vs. Georgetown in 2009 NIT & Cory Jefferson vs. Providence in 2013 NIT).
- Nuni Omot (11 points) scored in double-figures for the 15th time in his career, all coming in the 2017-2018 season.
- King McClure (5 points) played in the 100th game of his collegiate career.
