Bears face Longhorns in Wednesday night top-25 matchup
WACO, Texas – 21st-ranked Baylor volleyball (9-4, 1-1 Big 12) faces its third top-10 opponent in No. 4 Texas (6-3, 1-0 Big 12) Wednesday night at Gregory Gymnasium in Austin.
The 7 p.m. CT matchup will air live on Longhorn Network with Tyler Denning and Nell Fortner on the call.

Baylor looks for its first-ever win in Austin and first victory over the Longhorns since the 2001 season. BU is currently 1-2 against ranked opponents in 2018 and 1-0 against top-five teams.
BEARS LOOK FOR HISTORIC WIN IN AUSTIN
• Baylor volleyball will continue Big 12 road action with a top-25 matchup against No. 4 Texas Wednesday.
• Baylor faces its fourth top-25 opponent and second top-10 team this season.

• Senior Katie Staiger led all players with 12 kills on a .229 attack efficiency, followed by Shelly Fanning and Yossiana Pressley with 10 and nine kills, respectively.
• The match saw 22 ties and 10 lead changes while the Bears hit .250 as a team. Ultimately, the Longhorns' 8.0-5.0 blocking advantage and BU's 59 percent sideout percentage prevented the Bears from their first win in Austin.
