Preview: No. 3 VB Set for Saturday Matchup At K-State

The Bears and Wildcats face off at 3 p.m. CT in Manhattan, Kan.
WACO, Texas – Third-ranked Baylor volleyball (22-1, 12-1 Big 12) opens its final road stretch with a Saturday match at Kansas State (8-18, 3-11 Big 12) at 3 p.m. CT at Ahearn Field House.
The match will be televised on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Brian Smoller and Liz Wegner-Busch on the call.

BEARS HEAD TO THE LITTLE APPLE
• No. 3 BU will look to continue its momentum from Wednesday's upset over No. 1 Texas in Saturday's match at Kansas State.
• Baylor holds a 7-1 record in road matches this season with the lone loss coming in Austin.
• Baylor is 3-2 in its last five trips to Manhattan is on a two-match winning streak in the Little Apple.
• BU is 6-3 against Kansas State under head coach Ryan McGuyre.

• No. 3 Baylor volleyball (22-1, 12-1 Big 12) used a career double-double from junior Yossiana Pressley and a record crowd of 7,357 fans to upend top-ranked Texas (19-3, 13-1 Big 12) Wednesday night at the Ferrell Center, 25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 15-9.
• Pressley matched a season-high 31 kills and posted a career-best 24 digs to lead the way, followed by junior Hannah Lockin's 11th double-double with 53 assists and 11 digs.
• Defensively, freshman Kara McGhee posted a team-high six blocks while senior Tara Wulf totaled 22 digs in the win.
• Baylor topped Texas for the first time since Oct. 27, 2001, snapping a 35-match losing streak to the Longhorns.

• Baylor is 7-1 in true road matches in 2019 and recently swept Texas Tech in Lubbock.
