HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Baylor women's golf shot 19-over-par 303 in Saturday's second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The Bears fell two spots into 15^th place at 34-over 602 entering Sunday's final round at Long Cove Club.

No. 36 Baylor (+34) leads No. 33 North Carolina (+36) and Oklahoma State (+38), and all but two of the teams in front of the Bears are higher-ranked in the latest Golfstat rankings. The Bears trail No. 19 Florida State (-3), No. 3 Duke (+5), No. 13 Wake Forest (+6), No. 10 South Carolina (+12), No. 23 Furman (+15), LSU (+15), No. 4 UCLA (+16), No. 11 Auburn (+18), No. 7 Vanderbilt (+18), No. 14 Virginia (+22), No. 38 Georgia (+23), No. 6 Arkansas (+23), No. 15 Northwestern (+27) and No. 16 Alabama (+33).

Baylor sophomore Gurleen Kaur in tied for fifth place in the 90-player field after shooting 1-under 70 to improve to 1-under 141 through two rounds. Kaur played 34 consecutive bogey-free holes to start the tournament, including 21 straight pars. She began the second round on No. 10 and made birdies on her fourth and 12^th holes of the day, and she didn't make a bogey until her 17^th hole.

Sophomore Diane Baillieux carded a 5-over 76 to move into a tie for 67^th place at 11-over 153. First-semester freshman Emma Bradley shot 7-over 78 to move into 85^th place at 17-over 159, while junior Erica Chiang and senior Maria Vesga carded matching rounds of 8-over 79. Vesga is tied for 71^st at 12-over 154, and Chiang is tied for 76^th at 13-over 155.

HIGHLIGHTS

Baylor is third in the 17-team field in par-5 scoring at 2-under 4.93, tied for 12^th in par-3 scoring at 9-over 3.23 and 16^th in par-4 scoring at 45-over 4.41.
Baylor is tied for seventh in the tournament with 118 pars across two rounds.
Baillieux ranks tied for third in the 90-player field in par-5 scoring at 2-under 4.67, while Kaur and Bradley are tied for 14^th at 1-under 4.83.
Kaur is tied for eighth in par-4 scoring at even-par 4.00 and tied for 11^th in par-3 scoring at even-par 3.00.
Kaur leads the tournament with 33 pars, two more than any other player.

STAT OF THE DAY
34 – Gurleen Kaur began the tournament with 34 consecutive bogey-free holes. She made par on all 18 holes in the first round and on 14 of the first 16 holes in the second round, with birdies on her fourth and 12^th holes of the second round. Her lone bogey of the tournament came on No. 8, which was her 17^th hole in Saturday's second round.

Baylor is paired with Northwestern and Alabama for Sunday's final round, which begins at 7 a.m. CT with tee times from the first and 10^th tees. Baylor golfers will begin on the back-9, with Bradley up first at 7:50 a.m. CT. She'll be followed in 10-minutes intervals by Chiang, Vesga, Baillieux and Kaur, respectively.
