Bears enter final round 10 shots back of lead

TOLEDO, Ohio – Baylor women's golf is in sixth place after shooting 15-over-par 591 across two rounds on Monday at the Glass City Invitational. The Bears carded 5-over 293 in the first round and 10-over 298 in the second round at Inverness Club.
Baylor (+15) enters the final round 10 shots back of the lead held by Florida (+5). The Bears also trail Michigan State (+7), Illinois (+9), Michigan (+11) and Furman (+11). BU leads Texas A&M (+19), Northwestern (+24), Coastal Carolina (+29), Ohio State (+30), Wisconsin (+33), South Florida (+39) and Toledo (+81).
Four Baylor players are in the top-25 individually. Elodie Chapelet leads the team and is tied for 12th place at 3-over 147 after rounds of 1-over 73 and 2-over 74. Fiona Liddell and Diane Baillieux are tied for 18th place at 4-over 148, while Gurleen Kaur is tied for 23rd place at 5-over 149.
Liddell posted matching rounds of 2-over 74, Baillieux shot 1-over 73 in the first round and 3-over 75 in the second round, and Kaur carded 2-over 74 in the first round and 3-over 75 in the second round. Anika Veintemilla is tied for 56th place at 12-over 156, but she counted toward the team score with a first round of 1-over 73.

75 – Fiona Liddell made approximately 75 feet of putts on two attempts at No. 9. She sank a 40-footer for birdie in the first round and made a bending 35-footer for birdie on the same green in the second round.
