STORYLINES
TWO TO GO
- No. 9 Baylor welcomes Kansas State and Texas State for its last two regular-season matches of the year this week.
- The Bears are currently 18-5 and will look to complete their fifth-straight 20-win season if they can collect wins over the Wildcats and Bobcats.
- BU is coming off a four-set home loss to former No. 2-ranked Texas, which snapped a 28-game home winning streak.
- Baylor has already faced K-State twice in the fall, winning both Big 12 matchups, as well as sweeping Texas State earlier in March in San Marcos.
AGAINST THE WILDCATS
- Baylor has won each of its last five meetings with K-State, including a two-match sweep at the Ferrell Center in November.
- Under sixth-year head coach Ryan McGuyre, the Bears are 9-3 against the Wildcats.
- Five of the last six contests between BU and K-State have resulted in Baylor sweeps.
AGAINST THE BOBCATS
- BU holds a seven-match winning streak against Texas State, dating back to 2013.
- The Bears won this season's earlier meeting 3-0 in San Marcos.
- Under McGuyre, Baylor is 6-0 against the Bobcats.
THEY'RE COMING BACK
- On Monday, seniors Yossiana Pressley and Hannah Sedwick announced their intent to return to Baylor volleyball in the fall of 2021.
- All current NCAA Division I fall and winter student-athletes have been offered eligibility relief due to COVID-19.
- Pressley and Sedwick will return for their fifth years as Bears, having come to BU together as freshmen in 2017.
SELECTION SUNDAY
- The 2021 DI Women's Volleyball Selection Show is set for 3 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 4 and will be aired on ESPNU.
- A field of 48 teams will be announced for this season's championship, including 30 automatic qualifiers and 18 at-large bids.
- The field will be seeded in full 1-48, with the top-16 teams earning a first round bye.
- The remaining 32 teams will open play on Wednesday, April 14 in Omaha, Neb.
