No. 2 MT Readies for Sunday Doubleheader

Bears host Idaho State and Incarnate Word in Hawkins Indoor
WACO, Texas – The No. 2 Baylor men's tennis program is set to host its second doubleheader of the season on Sunday, facing Idaho State and Incarnate Word in the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
The Bears (6-0) take on the Bengals of ISU (1-3) and the Incarnate Word Cardinals (0-3) after a clean sweep of William & Mary and Miami in the ITA Kickoff on Jan. 30-31.
So far this season, Idaho State has met Utah twice and seen Utah State and Grand Canyon, their singular win coming against the Lopes. UIW faced Oklahoma and played a pair of matches with LSU.
Baylor has had 43-consecutive doubleheader sweeps, taking both ends of the last twin bill against Boise State and Abilene Christian.
BU has had five sweeps in six matches this season, bringing the program to 22 sweeps overall under head coach Michael Woodson. The Bears have faced Creighton, Nebraska, ACU, Boise State, William & Mary and Miami so far. The 6-1 win over the Huskers was the only non-sweep.
The 18th-ranked doubles team of Finn Bass and Sven Lah are 5-0 on the season in dual play, with Lah earning his 100thdoubles win against Boise State on Jan. 24. The senior is ranked 48th in singles play, currently 4-0 in dual matches.
Newcomer Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi is 6-0 in singles play, leading the team, while Bass is 5-0 and Adrian Boitan joins Lah at 4-0. Grassi Mazzuchi and Matias Soto are 4-0 in doubles, while Boitan and Tadeas Paroulek are 2-0.
