Bears run four in College Station
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor women's cross country returns to the course after their season-opening victory in San Antonio for the Texas A&M Invitational at the Dale Watts Cross Country Course on Friday morning.
The Bears, who will only participate in the women's 5,000 meters, will take the starting box at approximately 8:45 a.m.
With three returners in Anna Garner, Abby Morris and Alaina Zamorano joined by freshman Kira Dietrich, the four will run in a field of 13 total teams including Abilene Christian, Dallas Baptist, Houston, North Texas, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma City, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Commerce, Tarleton State, TCU, UTA and UT-Tyler.
At the week one UIW Twilight, two of this week's four competing Bears scored points, as Garner finished eighth overall in the second top-10 finish of her collegiate career, while Zamorano finished 14th.

Admission to the Dale Watts Cross Country Course is free for Baylor fans making the short trip down Highway 6.
