Bears facing first top-5 opponent of the season
WACO, Texas –Baylor men's tennis continues its February homestand on Sunday and Monday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center, hosting Tulsa on Sunday at noon and No. 5 USC on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
Coming off another home doubleheader that moved BU (6-1) to a perfect 4-0 at home, the Bears will face a Tulsa team at 3-3 on a three-match skid and a 4-0 USC team that checked in at No. 5 in this week's ITA Coaches Poll.
Baylor looks to continue a six-match win streak over the Golden Hurricane that dates back to 2017. The Bears hold the 13-3 advantage against Tulsa all-time.
The winner of Sunday's match will decide the series leader with USC, as the Bears and Trojans sit knotted at nine each. BU has momentum in the series, taking the previous two matchups in 2017 and 2019.
