Bears open conference play Dec. 21 at home
IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference released the 2025-26 schedule Monday afternoon, featuring a conference home opener for Baylor women's basketball on Sunday, Dec. 21.
Home-and-away delegations were announced earlier this summer, with Baylor set to face Texas Tech, TCU and UCF twice, while splitting the other 12 conference foes evenly at home or away. Baylor finished 15-3 in league play last season and reached its 16th all-time appearance in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship title game.
The Lady Raiders visit Foster Pavilion to open the conference schedule Dec. 21 before a 10-day Christmas break. The series with Texas Tech will mark the 104th and 105th all-time meetings between the in-state foes. Baylor's first road test follows at Oklahoma State on Dec. 31 in Stillwater, Okla.
The Bears begin the new year in Ames, Iowa, against Iowa State on Jan. 4, then return to Central Texas for back-to-back home games against Colorado on Jan. 8 and Kansas on Jan. 11.
Baylor plays its first-ever road game at Utah on Jan. 14, then makes the 50-mile trip to BYU in Provo on Jan. 17. UCF and Houston close out January on the 21st and 25th, respectively.
West Virginia hosts Baylor on Feb. 1 in Morgantown, followed by a Feb. 4 trip to Cincinnati. Back home, Arizona State comes to Foster Pavilion on Feb. 7 for its first game in Waco since 2003. Baylor then hosts TCU on Feb. 12, continuing a rivalry that has featured at least two matchups in 13 of the last 14 seasons.
The Bears make their second trip of the season to Orlando after facing Iowa and Davidson in November, to play UCF on Feb. 15. They then head to Lubbock for a second matchup with Texas Tech on Feb. 18. Back in Waco, Baylor plays Arizona on Feb. 21 and Kansas State on Feb. 23.
As in last season, Baylor and TCU will close conference play against each another on March 1, with the Bears visiting Fort Worth.
Broadcast selections and tipoff times will be announced in the coming weeks.
