FROM HEAD COACH MICHAEL WOODSON
On today's doubleheader…
"It was good to get back home and compete. It was fun to see all the guys get an opportunity to play. I thought Lamar has a really talented group and that competes well. They've played some big matches already this year, so we knew we were gonna have our hands full, and I thought they brought a good level. So it was really good for our guys. I think, going through the first match we had a little bit of lack of communication in doubles, that I didn't love seeing, but I thought, in singles, we were really focused and competitive, and outside of the lights going off in the middle of the match, I thought we did a really good job of burying them."
On match against Wisconsin…
"They're a really good team, any power four school is going to have a great team, especially these days. They just had a really good road win at SMU today and we have a ton of respect for what they're doing and how strong their team is this year. So I know we're going to have to make sure we're ready to bring our best, but excited to play at home against a school like Wisconsin and open for a great crowd and excited to see what these guys can do."
