Game notes:
• Baylor returns home after a successful road trip, hosting Colorado on Thursday night at 7 p.m. The game will be live from Waco on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
• The Bears face the Buffaloes for the 23rd time in program history after claiming both matchups in last season's home-and-away series. BU holds a 10-game winning streak over CU, a run that began before Colorado originally left the Big 12 Conference in 2011 to join the Pac-12.
• BU is one of only two AP-ranked programs, alongside Texas, with two wins over top-10 opponents and the only Big 12 team with multiple ranked victories.
• Baylor is ranked 16th in the AP Poll and 16th in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll after its 13-3 start to the season.
• BU opened Big 12 road play with a successful trip, rallying past Oklahoma State and upsetting then-No. 10 Iowa State to extend its conference road winning streak to seven games and claim its 12th win in the last 13 road league matchups.
• Through games on Jan. 6, Baylor is ranked No. 28 in the NET.
• The Bears are 3-3 against Quadrant 1 opponents, with BU's top win coming against Duke in Paris to open the season.
• Baylor picked up its third top-10 road win of the Nicki Collen era, and the first since beating Texas in Austin on Dec. 30, 2023, in a 72-70 defeat of No. 10 Iowa State.
• The victory extended BU's Big 12 road winning streak to seven games, dating back to Jan. 29, 2025, at UCF, and gave the Bears 12 wins in their last 13 road conference contests.
• Taliah Scott delivered the Bears' victory behind 21 points, all coming in the second half, and the game-winning jumper outside of the paint with two seconds remaining.
• Darianna Littlepage-Buggs dominated the glass, picking up a career-high-tying 20 rebounds while adding 13 points.
• Baylor had an eight-point lead, its largest of the game, after Kiersten Johnson's career-high third three-pointer of the game with 3:18 remaining in the fourth.
• The Bears held the nation's leading scorer to just four points in the second half and limited her to 55% from the field, her lowest shooting percentage of the season and worst since March 5, 2025.
• With an award-winning first week back from injury, Scott was again named Big 12 Player of the Week and a USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week after leading Baylor to a top-10 road win with a game-winning jumper at Iowa State after sparking a 19-point comeback victory at Oklahoma State, where she went 13-of-15 from the free-throw line. Scott averaged 22.5 points per game on the road trip, with a combined 21 free throws and 15 drawn fouls.
• With Darianna Littlepage-Buggs' 20 boards at Iowa State, she has officially passed Lauren Cox for the No. 10 spot in program history for career rebounds.
