2005: Fifth-year senior Jamaal Harper emerged from spring practice No. 1 in the battle to replace 2004 All-Big 12 performer Justin Crooks at linebacker opposite Colin Allred.
2004: Played in all 11 games as a junior to receive his second letter ... Credited with 21 tackles, including 16 solos, three tackles for losses totaling five yards and a quarterback hurry ... Tallied a career-high six tackles, including a career-best five solos, against No. 2 Oklahoma ... Recorded six multi-tackle performances ... Played 373 snaps.
2003: Appeared in all 12 games for the Bears to earn his first letter ... Credited with 26 tackles for the season, 12 of which were solo stops ... His seven-yard fumble return for a touchdown against Colorado put the Bears ahead for good in their 42-30 upset win over the two-time defending Big 12 North Division champions ...
