WACO - Baylor women's golf head coach Sylvia Ferdon and senior player Ali Brewer received Big 12 honors, the league office announced Friday.

Ferdon was honored by the conference coaches the Big 12 Coach of the Year, and Brewer was selected to the Big 12 All-Conference second team.

Ferdon is in her seventh season at Baylor and has led the Bears to seven top five tournament finishes this season including a win at the Hatter Fall Classic.

The all-conference honor is the second straight for Brewer, a senior from Crockett, Texas. She recently won individualist honors at the Susie Maxwell-Berning Classic in Norman, Okla.
