- Danielle Wilson's 3.44 blocks per game ranks her No. 6 nationally.
- BU is 93-19 (.830) since the start of the 2004-05 season with 16 of the 19 setbacks coming at the hands of nationally ranked opponents. Baylor's last 14 losses have come to ranked opponents.
- Baylor is 149-13 (.920) under Coach Mulkey when scoring 70 or more points, including 92-3 (.968) when putting 80 or more on the scoreboard.
- Bernice Mosby, who left school early in 2007 to play for the WNBA, received her Baylor degree on Dec. 15. Baylor boasts a 100% graduation rate by Lady Bears who have completed their athletic eligibility at BU since Coach Mulkey's arrival.
- Danielle Wilson has blocked at least one shot in 40 of 43 career games, including 4 or more 14 times and 3 or more on 18 occasions. Wilson's wing span is 82.25 inches, only 5 inches less than Mamadou Diene, the 7-foot center on the Baylor men's team.
- Wilson narrowly missed a triple-double when Baylor defeated Oregon. She hauled down 10 rebounds, rejected a school-record nine shots and scored nine points.
- Angela Tisdale has been named by the WNBA Player Personnel Department one of the 2008 WNBA Draft's top 20 prospects.
- Tisdale has 411 career assists and needs just 47 to claim the top spot on BU's career chart from Chelsea Whitaker (457, 2002-05).
- With 970 career points, Tisdale needs just 30 to reach 1,000 points.
- Jhasmin Players' 13-of-13 effort from the free throw line against Saint Mary's and Danielle Wilson's nine blocks against Oregon both rank No. 1 in the Big 12.
- Sophomore posts Danielle Wilson (31) and Jessika Bradley (13) have combined for 44 of the team's 63 season blocks.

BAYLOR IN THE RANKINGS
After beginning the season ranked No. 15 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Preseason Polls, Baylor is now ranked No. 11 in both polls. Prior to the loss to fifth-ranked Stanford, Baylor was ranked No. 10 for three weeks.
Baylor has been ranked in a school-record 74 straight regular-season AP polls dating back to week nine of the 2003-04 listing when it broke in at No. 24.
THE OPPONENT
ST. JOHN'S
The St. John's Red Storm, 8-3 on the season, are led by sixth-year head coach Kim Barnes Arico who sports a career record of 76-79.
A squad that returns all five starters from last season's squad, the Red Storm currently has two players averaging double-digit scoring and two more who manage 8.5 or more a game. Junior guard Monique McLean leads the way with 15.4 points and 6.3 rebounds followed by freshman guard Sky Lindsay's 10.3 points. Guard Kia Wright, a 5-8 senior, scores 9.5 a contest followed by 6-3 senior Tiina Sten's 8.5. Sophomore forward Joy McCorvey shares team rebounding honors with McLean at 6.3 a contest.
St. John's has posted wins over Army (72-58), then-24th-ranked N.C. State (60-55), Dartmouth (74-31), Monmouth (71-48), Boston University (76-69), UMass (84-68), Maine (80-50) and Louisiana-Monroe (69-53) while suffering losses to Vermont (66-48), Hartford (64-62) and Alabama-Birmingham (80-71).
TEXAS/NEW YORK TIES
Two Baylor players and two St. John's players probably wish they could just snap their fingers and exchange places for holiday vacations. Lady Bears Danielle Wilson and Kaitlin Oberg, both native New Yorkers, live approximately 35 miles from the St. John's campus, while the Red Storm has two Texas players on their roster. Kristin Moore, a 5-8 junior guard, hails from Irving Texas and sophomore forward/center Recee Mitchell is from Tyler, Texas.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB
With her 13-point, 13-rebound performance against Texas A&M-CC, Jhasmin Player joined a select group of Lady Bears. She became one of just four Baylor players to produce a points/ rebound double-double and a points/assist double-double in the same season. Her first double-double of the season came against Southeast Missouri with a 13-point, 10-assist performance.
Also members of this elite group are Sheila Lambert (accomplished the feat in two different seasons, 2000-01 and `01-02), Lara Webb (1998-99) and Rita Martin (1985-86).
