WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's golf team is ranked 33rd nationally in the initial Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings released earlier this week.
Baylor, which finished third at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate Wednesday in Highlands Ranch, Colo., is ranked No. 39 in the latest Golfstat NCAA Division I Head-to-Head Standings. Senior Hannah Burke finished third overall at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, her ninth career top-five finish.
In its season-opening tournament, the Lady Bears finished seventh out of 16 teams at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in Fort Collins, Colo.
In the initial Golfweek/Sagarin Women's Individual Collegiate Ratings, Burke is ranked No. 65 nationally, while teammate Lene Hafsten-Morch is rated No. 80 overall. Burke leads the Lady Bears with a 72.33 stroke average through six rounds. Hafsten-Morch posted a 74.33 stroke average in her season debut at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate.
