UNLV Spring Invitational First Round Results in PDF Format 
BOULDER CITY, Nev. - After shooting an opening-round 5-over 293, the Baylor women's golf team is in sixth place Monday at the UNLV Spring Invitational.
The Lady Bears are one shot behind fifth-place Texas Tech (4-over 292) and 12 shots back of tournament-leading UNLV (7-under 281). Idaho is in second place at 3-under 285, while Ball State and Missouri are both tied for third at 1-over 289.
Junior Lene Hafsten-Morch carded her lowest round of the season with a 2-under 70, finishing the first round in a tie for eighth place. Hafsten-Morch's 18-hole score of 70 was her first sub-par round this season and lowest since carding a second-round 67 at the 2008 Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic. Her scorecard featured three birdies through the first eight holes. Hafsten-Morch is one shot out of fourth place and five shots behind leader Kayla Mortellaro (7-under 65) of Idaho.
Senior Hannah Burke and sophomore Chelsey Cothran also finished the first round in the top 20. Burke is tied for 17th after an even-par 72, while Cothran is 1-over 73 in 20th. Both Melanie White and Jaclyn Jansen are tied for 66th at 6-over 78.
The second round of the UNLV Spring Invitational will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. CST. Live scoring will be available at www.GolfStat.com.
