MT Heads West to Battle Arizona State

Bears are 2-1 in road matches this season
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's tennis (12-3) will have its fourth road test of the season with a Saturday matchup against Arizona State (4-5) at 2 p.m. CT at Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz.
BU is 2-1 on the road and have won two in a row at Wisconsin and Illinois heading into Saturday's match.
Baylor leads 3-1 in the all-time series with the Bears winning the last two matchups in 2018 and 2019.
Last season, BU dropped the doubles point but took five of six singles matches for the 5-2 win. Johannes Schretter, Matias Soto, Adrian Boitan, Sven Lah and Jimmy Bendeck all recorded wins for the Bears.
BU boasts four singles players and two doubles teams in the latest ITA rankings. No. 35 Sven Lah, No. 57 Adrian Boitan, No. 66 Matias Soto and No. 82 Constantin Frantzen were listed in singles while Lah and Frantzen were No. 11 and Soto and Ryan Dickerson came in at No. 24 in doubles.
BU is ranked No. 27 in the latest ITA rankings and No. 11 in the USTA poll.
BU is coming off a 7-0 home sweep over Valparaiso last Wednesday. BU claimed the doubles point and never looked back to improve to 10-0 at home in 2020.
