Bears tip off golden anniversary celebration
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the 2024-25 season, 20 years after the 2005 national championship. The program, which first began intercollegiate competition in 1974, has amassed three national championships, 24 conference championships and 23 All-Americans as it enters its 51st season of competition.
Throughout the home slate, Baylor will honor fans' favorite memories submitted online at BaylorBears.com. Each game, one moment in Baylor women's basketball history submitted by a fan will be shown on the videoboard.
Former Bears are also welcomed back for Alumni Weekend November 15-17, a celebratory event-packed three days culminating in BU's game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Alumnae can RSVP through the "B" Association online.
Season tickets for the 50th anniversary season at the Paul and Alejandra Foster Pavilion are on sale now. Starting at $175, season tickets guarantee the best deal and secures your seat for every home game this season. For more information, call the Baylor Athletics Ticket Office at 254-710-1000.
