• The Bears meet the Knights for the sixth time in program history and the third time since UCF joined the Big 12. Baylor has won every matchup, including a 3‑point victory in Waco in 2024 and an 11‑point win in Orlando in 2025.
• BU is tied for first in the Big 12 Conference with Texas Tech and TCU and carries the league's longest active win streak at six games.
• Baylor's 17-3 mark is its best start through 20 games in the Nicki Collen era, surpassing the 16-4 starts from each of the previous two seasons.
• Ranked No. 1 in the nation, the Bears' 3-point defense has been sharp all season, holding opponents to 22.2% from beyond the arc and 19.9% in Big 12 play.
• Through games on Jan. 19, Baylor is ranked No. 26 in the NET.
• The Bears are 4-2 against Quadrant 1 opponents, with BU's top win coming against Duke in Paris to open the season.
• Baylor's three losses have come against opponents with a combined 54-5 record.
• Baylor picked up its first win in Provo since 1978 in a 69-58 decision over the BYU Cougars.
• Taliah Scott powered the Bears' offense with 25 points and five assists, scoring 12 in the final quarter to slam the door shut on the victory.
• The Bears led throughout, weathering runs from the Cougars in the second and third quarters.
• BU held BYU to 32.3% shooting and 5‑for‑30 from three, including just 23.8% in the opening quarter.
• Bella Fontleroy contributed 12 points and five rebounds, while Darianna Littlepage‑Buggs collected a team‑best nine boards to anchor the paint.
• Baylor's defense dominated Utah in Salt Lake City, allowing eight first-quarter field goals from the Utes before holding the home team to just eight field goals in the remaining 30 minutes of play. • Redshirt sophomore Ines Goryanova made the first appearance of her career, playing 1:28 combined in the second and fourth quarters.
