Game notes:
• Baylor begins its final regular-season homestand Saturday night at 7, hosting Arizona. The game is the second half of a doubleheader with the Baylor men facing Arizona State and will air on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
• The Bears meet the Wildcats for just the fifth time in program history, having split two matchups in the Nicki Collen era. Arizona beat Baylor in the 2022 Pac-12 Coast-to-Coast Challenge at the American Airlines Center in Dallas before the Bears earned an overtime win in Tucson in the Wildcats' first season in the Big 12 Conference.
• At 22-6 overall, Baylor is ranked No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and No. 14 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. It marks the Bears' 22nd straight AP ranking and their 363rd over the last 20 seasons, the second-most in that span behind UConn.
• BU is tied for second in the Big 12 standings with Texas Tech and West Virginia at 11-4. TCU leads the league at 12-3, while Oklahoma State and Colorado sit one game behind Baylor in a tie for fifth at 10-5.
• As part of Senior Night festivities, Baylor will honor Bella Fontleroy, Kiersten Johnson, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs and Jana Van Gytenbeek before Saturday's game. Graduate assistants Read Jackson and Sean Mullen and student manager Jake Andrade also will be recognized.
• Baylor extended its streak to 26 straight seasons with at least 20 wins with its victory over Cincinnati.
• The streak is the second-longest active run in NCAA Division I, behind UConn's 33 consecutive seasons.
• Head coach Nicki Collen became the fourth coach in the last 15 seasons to start her collegiate head coaching career with at least five 20-win seasons at the DI level and the third among power-conference coaches.
• Bears Taliah Scott and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs were named to midseason top‑10 lists for their respective Starting Five Awards through the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
• Baylor's two selections trail only South Carolina and UCLA, which have four each, and NC State and UConn, which have three. BU's two match 10 programs nationally and lead the Big 12, with BYU, Iowa State and TCU each earning one.
• Scott, selected to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Award top 10, ranks second in scoring among the group at 20.4 points per game, trailing Vanderbilt's Mikayla Blakes, who leads the list at 25.6.
• Scott was also added to the 2026 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Late-Season Team, as one of three Big 12 players mentioned and one of 11 underclassmen on the 30-player watchlist.
• Littlepage-Buggs, back among the nation's top power forwards after being named a Katrina McClain Award finalist last season, is one of two players on this year's top‑10 list averaging a double‑double, joined by NC State's Khamil Pierre.
• Baylor suffered an 87-56 loss to Texas Tech in Lubbock, giving up 55.7% shooting from the Lady Raiders.
• Taliah Scott and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs led Baylor's scoring on the evening with 13 each, as Scott gained seven from the free-throw line.
• Kiersten Johnson grabbed a team-high six rebounds, four of those coming off the offensive glass, while Jana Van Gytenbeek and Yuting Deng each posted three assists.
• Texas Tech led by as many as 35 points late in the fourth quarter after Baylor's best scoring stretch in the third that brought the game back within 15.
